Fernando Acevedo


He was born in the City of Buenos Aires on August 10, 1984.

He graduated as a Lawyer from the University of Buenos Aires in 2011.

He attended to the Master in Law and Economic at the University Torcuato Di Tella (2012-2013).


In March 2020, he joined Cassagne Abogados law firm. He specializes in transactional, corporate and regulatory matters.

He began his career as lawyer at Brons & Salas abogados (2010 - 2013) and Bruchou Fernandez Madero & Lombardi (2013 – 2014) law firms, as a member of the corporate teams.

Between 2014 and 2017 he worked as an in-house lawyer in Genneia S.A., an energy company leader in the conventional and renewable energy generation industry, where he participated in contract negotiations with project developers, manufacturers and suppliers of solar panels and wind turbines, EPC, O&M y BoP contractors, manufacturers of towers for wind turbines, among others. He also participated in the process of selection, awarding and signing of renewable energy agreements of the Renovar program.

Between 2017 and 2018 he served as manager of the legal team of EY Argentina, advising domestic and multinational companies in M&A procedures, cross-border transactions and corporate reorganizations procedures.

During 2019 he joined the transactional department of Beretta Godoy law firm, where he advised international mining companies.

He is currently serving as a guest professor in the Master in Environmental Law at the Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina.
